Exciting News from Pastor Elizabeth
Good news, friends: Peace River Presbytery signed a contract on five acres of land on Lorraine Road, just northeast of Hwy 70. Go have a look at the old orange grove, adjacent to the site held by Risen Savior Lutheran Church. Pray for Peace, for all God has in store for us in the future. Pending due diligence, including a successful loan application to the General Assembly, PC(USA), the presbytery will close this deal with SMR, the Lakewood Ranch developers, on December 20.

-$26,000 and 350 volunteer hours to mission:

- Weekly Food Donations for Beth el Mission as need has increased.
- Rebuilding homes in Arcadia - helping build 6 new homes.
-Helping build homes in Sarasota and Manatee Counties with Habitat for Humanity.
- Sponsorship of athletic teams at Lakewood Ranch YMCA .
- Food Collections for "All Faiths Food Bank".
- Participating in Family Promise (Shelter for homeless families) with food and personnel.
- Cash and Household Items for Families in need
