Earth Care

Peace has been certified as an Earth Care Congregation, attending to a variety of ways of educating ourselves and growing as good stewards of God’s creation. To become certified as Earth Care Congregations, churches take the “Earth Care Pledge.” Then, they complete activities and projects in the fields of worship, education, facilities and outreach.

Our team is composed of Peace youth and adults dedicated to being good stewards of the environment. Read more about our Peaceful Path here and visit Peace to snip an herb from the garden planted with love by Earth Care members.

Some Presbyterian camp and conference centers have also joined with the Green Leaf Seal program. As more camps naturally incorporated environmental education, farming and gardening practices, and other green elements, our local Camp Cedarkirk in Lithia, FL has been an early adapter. You can learn more about our fun trips to Cedarkirk on the “Camps and Conferences” page.
